Allen
Owner
When Allen is not working at the bench he enjoys the gym, eating wine gums and socialising with friends. Makes the best tiramisu.
Harriet
Head Of Workshop
Harri has worked for Allen for over 20 years. When not at work creating wonderful jewellery, Harri enjoys spending time with her son who was born in December 2025.
Charlie
Workshop
Charlie specialises in our remodel jobs and has worked for Allen for 34 years. He also teaches jewellery making at Burton College. He enjoys holidays and films but hates shortbread.
Holly
Marketing and PR
When not helping to organise Allen, Holly takes part in endurance sports, recently completing her fourth Ironman. She loves cake, snacks and going out on her bike.
Lynn
Designer / Maker
Lynn produces our design sketches and helps your ideas become a reality. She is ‘Mumager’ to her son and daughter who are in the 80’s inspired band Deco. She is also proud Mama to Winnie the workshop dog.
Justine
Retail
Assisting with customers who visit the gallery, Justine knows our stock inside out. She has a passion for vegan food and enjoys holidaying in Japan every year.
Lily
Workshop
Lily works in both the shop helping customers and at the bench creating jewellery. Loves pistachio, pickles and pottery. Has a larger than acceptable selection of jellycats.
Helen
Hanson’s Valuer
Also working for Hanson’s, Helen is in charge of our valuations. Helen knows every stone whether that’s a pebble from your garden or a diamond from South Africa. She has a passion for flavoured teas.
Alyssa
Apprentice
Starting with us in Summer 2026, Alyssa is our newest recruit. Gaining knowledge from working alongside our team, we are excited to welcome her to Allen Brown. She loves discoballs and her dog Dexter.
